I am truly a fortunate soul to be born, grow up, and be a part of a Midwestern Christian family and community. My father was truly a model of hard work, my mother was a model of faith and dedication. My goal is to continue in those footsteps to benefit my community with financial guidance through hard work, faith, and dedication for my clients.

Personal finance is not normally taught and was seldom discussed in my family. I approach each client as a teaching relationship that allows me to help understand how their goals can be realized through proper planning and strategies. Through life lessons, over 20 years in corporate finance and management, and professional education, I share ways to provide paths to your dreams.

In my personal time, I enjoy time with my wife and three daughters, fishing, hunting, golfing, or just watching the magnificent clouds.

Growing up in the church I learned a few things: God is good, His love for all people knows no end, and He has a calling for all of us. For me, God has called me to serve and help others. Thrivent gives me the ability to put my faith, calling, and knowledge to use in one of the most intimate areas in people’s lives, their finances.

Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends by enjoying the outdoors, playing sports (golf, soccer, and disc golf), and game nights at church. During football season I love cheering on my favorite team- Go Blue!

Growing up in a smaller Midwestern community, I learned important lessons young: God is always first, relationships are key, and anything worth having requires hard work. Using these principles as my guide, I get to know you and work diligently to create your plan.

I feel strongly about helping young families and other young adults become more educated about their finances so they can build a better life for themselves and their children. Contrary to common belief, I believe that having a financial strategy should start early so that it can grow with you, not solely when you are planning for retirement.

My goal as your financial advisor is to put together a framework that evolves with you and to build a relationship, walking with you throughout life. I am fortunate to work on an experienced team, working together to further you on your financial journey and build plans that are individualized to you.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, nestling up with a good book or tv show, and drinking coffee. I married my husband, Zach, in 2021 and am extremely blessed by our family which includes our sweet baby girl, Eliana, and one rambunctious mini aussiedoodle, Chip. We call Crossbridge Community Church home and are thankful for the family we have found there.

I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where I learned the importance of hard work, integrity, and showing up for others. Those values continue to shape how I live and work today. Fort Wayne is more than just where I live—it’s my home, and helping people here thrive is deeply personal to me.

As a Financial Advisor, I’m passionate about helping individuals and families find clarity and confidence in their financial lives. After 13 years in retail banking, I saw firsthand how much finances impact peace of mind. I also witnessed the transformation that comes with a solid plan—people feel empowered, less stressed, and more hopeful about their future. That’s what drives me every day.

As the father of a child on the autism spectrum, I have a strong personal connection to the special needs community. I understand how overwhelming planning for the future can feel, and I’m committed to walking alongside families with both confidence and compassion.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne and an M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University. I was drawn to Thrivent for its values-based approach, which perfectly aligns with my belief that financial guidance should always put people first.

Faith is foundational in my life. My family and I attend Fairhaven Mennonite Church, where we are thankful to be part of a supportive, service-minded community. Outside of work, I enjoy life with my wife, Tamara, and our two boys, Preston and Ellis.
