Experience a night of culinary delight with Sam Chang and the Capitol Region Group of Thrivent!
Join us on Friday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Sur La Table in Canton, CT, for a hands-on “New York Steakhouse” cooking experience. Cook, learn, and savor alongside the culinary experts of Sur La Table in this interactive and delicious evening. We request that each attendee bring a guest—someone who hasn’t yet been introduced to Sam Chang and the Capitol Region Group of Thrivent.
We are also inviting guests to extend the evening’s focus on food and nourishment by contributing non-perishable items to support the Canton Food Bank, helping provide meals to local individuals and families in need. We encourage each guest to bring a non-perishable food or household item, such as:
- Canned Goods: Tuna, chicken, salmon, hearty soups, vegetables, and fruit
- Pantry Staples: Peanut butter, jelly, pasta sauce (jars/cans), pasta, rice, boxed potatoes, and cereal
- Personal Hygiene Items: Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products
- Other: Fruit juice (100%), formula, and cooking staples (oils, spices)
