Financially, Professionally and Personally
As Market Director for Thrivent in the Carolinas, I help people grow in every season of life and leadership. I continue to serve my own clients with financial guidance rooted in their values, while also developing financial advisors and connecting with future financial advisors who want to build meaningful careers.
Whether you are looking for financial guidance, exploring a career with purpose, or simply looking to connect, I would welcome the opportunity to start a conversation.
About Me
I was born and raised in North Carolina and have always believed that relationships are at the heart of everything worthwhile. That is true in my work, in my faith, and in my family. Today, I serve as Market Director for Thrivent in the Carolinas, where I help develop and support financial advisors across the region. I also continue to work directly with my own clients, helping individuals and families make informed financial decisions that reflect their goals and values.
My wife, Courtney, and I have been married since 2009, and we have two amazing children, Dawson and Merritt, who keep us busy with soccer games, gymnastics meets, and everything in between. When I have a little free time, you will typically find me playing golf, fishing, serving on the worship team at church, or simply enjoying time with family and friends.
I feel incredibly blessed to spend my days helping people grow - whether that is financially, professionally, or personally - and I am grateful for every opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Financial Guidance for Individuals and Families
I continue to work directly with clients who want guidance and a thoughtful approach to their financial decisions. Whether you are planning for retirement, addressing your family’s protection needs, investing for the future, preparing for life transitions, or developing a legacy strategy, my goal is simple: help you make informed decisions that support the life you are called to live.
Areas of focus:
Retirement planning
Investment strategies
Wealth accumulation
Risk management
Legacy and estate planning strategies
Values-based financial guidance

Helping Financial Advisors Reach Their Potential
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping financial advisors reach their potential. I work alongside new and experienced advisors to help them grow their businesses, develop confidence, strengthen client relationships, and create meaningful impact in the communities they serve. I believe great advisors change lives, and I am passionate about helping them succeed.
Financial Advisor development includes:
Business planning
Practice management
Leadership development
Prospecting and client acquisition
Coaching and accountability
Team and associate development
Recruiting the Next Generation of Financial Advisors
I am always looking to connect with people who want more than just a job. The advisor career can provide an opportunity to build a business focused on serving others, while offering professional growth and meaningful work. Many advisors I have worked with came from backgrounds outside of financial services and were drawn to a career centered on helping others. If you have ever wondered whether this could be the right path for you, I would welcome the opportunity to have a conversation.
Thrivent is a Fortune 500 financial services organization that has been helping people be wise with money and live generously for more than a century. What makes Thrivent unique is our belief that money is not the goal - it is a tool. A tool that can help people provide for their families, support the people and causes they care about, and live lives of meaning and purpose. That mission is what drew me to Thrivent and continues to inspire me today.
Faith, Family and Community
My greatest accomplishments are not found in job titles or professional milestones. They are found in the people I get to share life with. Faith, family, and meaningful relationships shape who I am and influence how I lead, serve, and work with others each day. Whether I am supporting a client, coaching a financial advisor, or spending time with my family, my goal is the same: leave people better than I found them.

Whether you’re looking for financial guidance, interested in learning more about a career with Thrivent, or simply want to start a conversation, I would be honored to connect.
