I have always wanted to serve people. I started out studying to be a pastor but came to realize I didn’t want to preach but did enjoy guiding and helping people. After much reflection I discovered that helping people with their financial future was a great fit for me.  I decided to combine my background in faith and finances to become a Certified Kingdom Advisor — a designation with training in providing biblically wise financial counsel.

I love helping people put together their financial puzzles. We all have financial puzzle pieces all over the place and most often we don’t know how they relate. My great joy is to show people how the pieces relate, find the gaps, and help to fill them. That is why I specialize in financial planning. I enjoy looking at your whole picture and helping you navigate your values, priorities, and goals to guide you towards financial choices that will help you live the life you want today and tomorrow. No matter what stage of life you are in I can help guide you to the financial future you are looking for.

My wife, Jill and I have been married for 22 years and have three amazing boys Isaiah (16), Liam (14) and Elijah (12).  We have a very relaxing, quiet, and full of laughter home. Our boys keep us laughing all the time. I grew up in California but have lived in Missouri for 21 years, spending the last 15 years in O’Fallon. When I am not working, I enjoy dabbling in woodworking, camping, hiking, goofing off in my Mano Tango Jeep and binge-watching The Andy Griffith Show.

Spending time with family is very important to me. That is why I look forward to taking our annual family vacation each fall to Hilton Head Island.  I also enjoy playing games and traveling with family. A family that plays together stays together after all.

I think it is important for all of us to give back and help where we can. That is why I enjoy being part of any Thrivent Action Team planned by my clients or organization that supports Christian music, or veterans.

I am also passionate about the efforts of the following organizations:

Children’s Tumor Foundation – Day in and day out, we’re picturing a world without NF (Neurofibromatosis). Our Mission: Drive research, expand knowledge, and advance care for the NF community. Our Vision: End NF.
