Colin is a Financial Advisor who focuses on overall financial planning including investment management and protection planning for his clients. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from John Carroll University as well as a MBA from Ashland University. Colin also has his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. Prior to joining Thrivent in 2008, he worked for JPMorgan Chase.

Colin and his wife Melissa, who also works for Thrivent as an Assistant Manager of Engagement, live in Hudson, OH and have a daughter, Ava. He spends much of his free time on a soccer field watching Ava and still plays himself in a men’s league. Colin and Melissa also support and volunteer their time at local charities including Building Hope in the City.

Mary Jo is a Financial Advisor who focuses on investment management, retirement income planning, tax diversification and legacy planning for people in all stages of life. She has a BA from Notre Dame College of Ohio and has professional designations including the Retirement Income Certified Professional from the American College of Financial Planning as well as being a Certified Kingdom Advisor. Prior to joining Thrivent, Mary Jo worked in the Regional Banking Industry. She serves clients in the Northeast Ohio area with offices in Concord, Westlake and Stow. 

Mary Jo and her husband, Don, reside in Mentor, Ohio. They are active members of Pilgrim Lutheran Brethren Church in Mentor and enjoy vacationing in the warm weather.

Ryan is a Financial Advisor who focuses on overall financial planning, investment management and protection planning for his clients. He has a B.S. from Indiana Wesleyan University and an M.A. from Geneva College. Ryan has his certified Long Term Care designation and has worked with Thrivent for over five years. He serves clients in the Wooster, Akron/Canton, and Cleveland Area. 

Ryan and his wife, Brooke, live with their daughter in Wooster, Ohio. They are active in their local church and community and are avid Buckeyes.

Angela joined our team in 2023 and provides exceptional client service as a fully licensed Practice Support Associate. Prior to joining Thrivent, Angela worked in the manufacturing industry and engineering fields. She has a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University.

Originally from Michigan, Angela currently resides in Hudson, Ohio, with her husband, Neil, and their 3 children. In her free time, she is a deacon at her church, a leader of the Hudson PTO, and volunteers with the Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio.

Susan joined Thrivent as an Office Professional in February 2020 after working as a church secretary for 23 years. Originally from Chicago, she and her husband Mike live in Bay Village. In her free time she enjoys playing cards with friends, spending time with family, and supporting her granddaughters in their activities. She works in our Westlake office and is the first person to greet you when you visit.

Sharron is a senior on our dedicated service professional team. With six years of financial industry experience at Thrivent, she is familiar with and assists in keeping our practice operations running smoothly behind the scenes to allow for exceptional client service to be priority. Her interests outside of work include outdoor family adventures, reading, and culinary arts.

Jessica joined Thrivent and our Remote Practice Support team as a licensed colleague in 2022. She has over 8 years of experience focused on assisting clients with insurance, investment, and banking needs. Jessica enjoys reading, cooking, and *trying* to play sports with her two sons in her free time.

Theodore has been working with Thrivent since 2015 and has a background in customer service before that. He is securities licensed and has a passion for serving customers efficiently and accurately.
