We're proud to once again partner with the CRMC Championship and provide free admission all week long to this incredible tournament at Cragun's Legacy Courses!
As we return for year two, we wanted to take things a step further by making this a true Week of Generosity.
The week kicks off on Monday, August 24, with our participation in the Fore Charity Tournament, a scramblegolf benefit for the CRMC Foundation. Later that afternoon, we'll host a special generosity event alongside Lakes Area Heroes, PGA TOUR Americas players, Cragun's staff, and Thrivent and pack treat bags for local first responders as a small thank you for everything they do for our community.
Tuesday will be filled with practice rounds, followed by Wednesday's Pro-Am, where local community members will have the opportunity to play alongside the future stars of the PGA TOUR.
Then it's time for the main event! From Thursday through Sunday, the CRMC Championship will showcase world-class golf while creating opportunities to give back right here in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
1,000 Kids. 1,000 Hats. The first 1,000 kids through the gates will receive a CRMC Championship hat provided by Thrivent and once again just like last year, the players are excited to sign them and create lasting memories for young fans.
Every Adult Attendee Becomes a Donor for the Day Stop by the Thrivent tent to participate in Thrivents donation experience. Adult attendees can scratch a ticket revealing a donation amount between $1 and $100 and then direct that donation through the CRMC Foundation to one of three important areas:
• Cancer Services
• Diabetes Care
• Ambulatory Training Lab Equipment
Together, these donations can make a meaningful impact on local healthcare. Thrivent will have these available until they reach up to $10,000 in donations this week made to the CRMC Foundation.
The CRMC Championship is about much more than golf. It's about bringing people together, supporting local healthcare, celebrating our community heroes, and creating opportunities for generosity that make a lasting impact.

As many of you know, the Flanders Fire came close to home, just south of Crosslake on County Road 11. Thank you to all the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and dispatchers who answered the call without hesitation.
There is no way to ever repay those who serve our communities every day and run toward danger to help keep us safe. Over the last couple of years, Meghan and I have had the opportunity to become more involved with Lakes Area Heroes, an incredible nonprofit that continually supports those who serve others.
To all of our first responders — who are also our friends, family members, and neighbors — thank you for continuing to fight the Flanders Fire and work tirelessly to protect our communities. While many of us watched and worried from a distance, you faced the smoke, heat, exhaustion, and uncertainty head-on to protect lives, homes, and property. Your courage, sacrifice, and commitment do not go unnoticed.
We continue to keep all those involved in our thoughts and prayers as this fight continues.
Thank you as well to Lakes Area Heroes for always being there to support our heroes and their families. Organizations like this make a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful for all they do behind the scenes to serve those who serve us. Thank you to this amazing community and the countless businesses that stepped to make sure our heroes have everything they need.

Happy First Mother’s Day to my wife — the woman who can calm a crying baby in 30 seconds while I’m still trying to figure out what’s wrong. You make the long nights, messy days, and nonstop chaos look way easier than they probably are. Our little one is so lucky to have you, and I love getting to do this whole parenting thing with you. Thanks for keeping our little family laughing, smiling, and somehow mostly on schedule.
