Making Waves for Awareness is back! Join us for an inspiring and energetic Swim-A-Thon fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness and gathering donations for those impacted by Autoimmune Encephalitis. This event, hosted by Avonlea Financial Group of Thrivent in partnership with Swamp Water Aquatics of Gainesville (SWAG), aims to support the Autoimmune Encephalitis Alliance as they provide resources, facilitate research to decrease misdiagnosis, and spread awareness. Event Highlights:. Saturday, September 13th, from 8:00am - 11:00am · Swim-A-Thon Challenge: Participants will swim laps to raise funds. Those interested in swimming laps for the fundraiser MUST be 14 years old or older to participate. Swimmers will have from 8am - 10:30am to complete as many laps as they can. · Awareness and Education: Learn more about Autoimmune Encephalitis and gain insight into the condition and the impact it has on individuals and families. · Community Involvement: Enjoy a day of community spirit with fun for the whole family. · Refreshments and Socializing: Join us for breakfast and refreshments.
