Maddie has been involved in the financial services industry for most of her life, helping Marty with filing, dictation, and other "office management" tasks since her early years. Upon graduating from Central College she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and help him to transition into retirement. In her first year with Thrivent she achieved conference-level production. She is married to Blaine and has one son Gehrig, and one dog, JB. In her free time she enjoys keeping up with the craziness of an all-boy household and volunteering as Board Vice President for Main Street Washington.

After a successful career in nonprofit fundraising, Justin began his role as a financial advisor with Thrivent to serve clients in a more comprehensive manner. Justin grew up on a farm in rural eastern Iowa and graduated from college at the University of Iowa. He and his wife, Nicole, have two children, Charlotte and Henry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his kids, helping on the family farm, hunting, fishing, and watching football and college basketball.

Trevor is a recent graduate of Mount Mercy in Cedar Rapids and has officially joined our team as a Financial Advisor. He has been an office professional and paraplanner since the summer of 2022, learning the ropes and meeting clients and is excited to begin building his own business and serving our existing members. In his spare time, Trevor is an avid golfer and Iowa Hawkeyes fan.

Marty began with AAL in 1998 and recently retired to the Associate role in July 2023. He has a passion for serving clients and ensuring that they create and protect legacies they have worked hard for their entire lives. Marty handed the reigns over to Maddie and now enjoys his retirement with his wife Joyce, traveling the country racing go-karts. They also have one other daughter, Vanessa, and a maltese named Oakley.

Willis is a Hall of Fame Legend with Thrivent, serving clients for over 50 years all over the state of Iowa. He has had several roles within the company, serving as an agent, representative, and field leader. He has also participated in several Thrivent Builds projects all around the world. Willis is married to Carol and enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren when he isn't traveling the world.

Amanda has been involved in the office since 2017, and recently came back into the Office Professional role in mid-2023. In this role, she provides support to the team by scheduling appointments and completing service tasks for our members. Amanda is married to Shamus and together they have Saylor, Liam, and Lane. She enjoys taking her three kids (and Maddie's son from time to time) to fun events around town, running, and spending time with her friends.
