Alan, along with his band, Milepost 6, will be performing at Stage AE for the Rock to Defeat ALS event on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The band will help put a spin on the well-known ice bucket challenge with Sing or Get Soaked. Participants can donate to nominate someone to either sing with the band or get soaked with an ice bucket.

Through personal connections, Alan is familiar with ALS and the challenges it can present to individuals and families. The ALS Association Walk supports causes such as care services, advocacy, research, and more.
