Be Kind to Humankind Week is wrapping up with Forgive Your Foe Friday. Try to find enough forgiveness in your heart to alleviate any anger you may be feeling towards other people or even towards yourself. This can be difficult, but it's extremely necessary. Forgiving someone who has hurt you is difficult. Forgiving yourself is difficult. But in forgiveness, we are free.Kind Tips:Forgive yourself when you make a mistake.Consume positive & uplifting content every day.Try praying, deep breathing or meditating to clear your mind.Don’t hold a grudge.Practice thinking good thoughts, not hateful ones.Try to make sense of what happened.Being able to forgive is very difficult, but putting effort into learning to forgive is worthwhile. Holding a grudge is bad for your health and the recipients.Be the first to make the move towards reconciliation. If your attempts fail, at least you tried.Look for insightful books on the topic of forgiving. We recommend the Bible! This may be an excellent source of help for you.

Whether at home, at school or work, or in public, try to always be thoughtful and considerate to other people.Kind Tips:Hold doors open for people behind youGive your seat to someone else when on the bus or the trainAllow a person with fewer items to go in front of you in lineLeave a nice note for a co-worker or classmateSay please, thank you, excuse me, and you’re welcome. So often we do forget to say these simple but important courtesies.Pick up the phone and say hello to a friend who’s in need of a little conversation.Invite a friend/relative over for lunch.Get involved in volunteer work in your community.Try to be more conscientious of others' feelings.Send a person who is feeling down a little note to lift their spirits, or a little gift (trinket) of some sort. Just letting them know that you are thinking of them helps so much.
