Why do I do what I do? I grew up in the suburbs of Dayton, Ohio to a single income family. My dad worked as an Air Conditioner repairman. In the mid 1980's he switched jobs many times due to downsizing and small businesses closing. This put a strain on my family. My mother always said, "Trust in the lord, and he will provide." We never went hungry and always made the ends meet,. My parents knew what would happen if one of them died early and took out life insurance with Aid Association for Lutherans.
