FAITH
From a young age I felt God calling on me to be in full time ministry. At the age of 16 I committed to becoming a pastor.
My father encouraged me to seek a Business degree in undergrad so that I would be equipped to help run the finances of the church. After attending seminary and working through the ordination process, I was ordained in the United Methodist Church in 2014.
In 2015, 4 years after the birth of our second oldest child, my wife and I made the difficult decision that it would be in our best interest for me to pursue ministry through different means. Our two oldest children have a genetic disorder called Fragile X which causes severe mental and physical deficiencies. I needed to move into a position with more time freedom so that I could be the best dad I could possibly be!
My work at Thrivent is ministry. Faith and finances are often intertwined in our lives. I absolutely love walking alongside individuals, families and businesses to help them understand how they can leverage their relationship with money to bring goodness into the world.

FAMILY
Family is incredibly important to me. Dru and I are blessed to be celebrating 19 years of marriage on June 19th, 2023!
Israel - A 15 year old, cleverly funny kid with a passion for the train at the zoo
Ezekiel (Zeke) - A 12 year old boy with the sweetest disposition who loves watching movies and chilling on the couch
Immanuel (Imma) - A 6 year old girl who is going to run the world someday. She loves playing with her friends outside in our neighborhood like it's 1985!
Eliza - A 1 year old baby girl of the family. Her top teeth are just coming in and she's starting to walk all over the house

FINANCES
Financial education is a passion of mine. The underlying driver for the work that I do is to help narrow the socio-economic gap. I believe that understanding finances is 10% knowledge and 90% behavior.
I have the privilege of being on the board for several non-profits in the St. Louis region. I regularly volunteer my time to inform and encourage those who are looking to take an active role with their finances.
Would you like to join me in making a direct impact in St. Louis and beyond?
