Isaac is a Financial Advisor, whose goal is to establish an ongoing financial relationship with his clients to help them reach their financial goals. He grew up in a family centered on business. From a young age, he worked in their warehouses and talked shop over the dinner table. HIs passion for business combined with a passion for discovering the world, led him to work abroad for over a decade, primarily in business schools. Now, he is back in his hometown, working with young people, families, and people approaching, and in retirement. He provides a holistic approach that aligns your goals and values with your financial plan.

Isaac is married with one young son, who attends local school in the East Isles neighborhood. His wife is an immigrant from Tunisia, and they celebrate the diverse background in their family. His personal background has led to involvement with immigrant communities in Minneapolis. He also enjoys reading nonfiction, hiking and international cuisine.

Isaac specializes in helping people be more secure in areas of protection management, tax-efficient strategies, investment management, socially responsible investing, and estate strategies. 

Ann is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and MBA, providing financial guidance to individuals, families and organizations. Having spent 25+ years in financial services, Ann joined the Thrivent family in 2015, looking to establish her own business focused on values-based financial planning. Ann enjoys learning about the needs of her clients and providing them with tangible steps to help strengthen their financial position and achieve their goals.

Ann specializes in retirement income planning, investments, education funding strategies, estate strategies and divorce planning.

Ann is married to Todd, who along with their daughters, likes to spend time at their cabin in northern Minnesota.

Scot is a Financial Consultant, who takes a holistic approach advising his clients to make financial decisions based on their personal values and multidimensional goals. He aims to develop life-long relationships with his clients and their families, staying in regular contact providing account information and updates. He feels that working together to put a financial strategy in place that helps you feel confident your future needs will be covered is crucial.

Scot specializes in holistic financial planning, wealth accumulation, risk management and tax strategies.  

Dan is a financial advisor and MBA, providing financial guidance and wholistic planning to individuals, families, small-businesses, and non-profit organizations. As a business leader with 30+ years of professional business consulting with executives, business leaders, and Fortune 500 organizations, Dan helps bring simple solutions to complex business problems. His expertise in managing corporate budgets, and understanding of finance and planning, supports tight family budgets by offering real solutions for multi-generational needs.

Whether your just getting started with financial planning, seeking guidance with retirement income and distribution, or looking to leave a family legacy - - Dan can help by providing guidance with investments, retirement planning, business (buy-sell, key person) planning, insurance, disability, and extended care insurance. Dan is also available to work with the family tax advisor or estate planning attorney to help create tax, wealth, and estate preservation strategies.

As a Christian business-man Dan thrives to provide financial education through workshops or connecting individually with clients and business partners. The goal - to help establish better financial decisions, mitigate risk, and leverage existing investments to live generously!

Married to his wife Connie with four children, Dan volunteers with Feed My Starving Children, men’s ministry, global missions, and coaching. Dan and family enjoy hiking the national parks, the great outdoors, and new-found passion - pickleball!  

Chris Johnson has been an intern with the team as an Office Professional since May 2021. Specifically, Chris supports Scot Kretzschmar by assisting with back-office analytical work. This kind of work is perfect for Chris, as it satisfies his analytical way of thinking. While Chris has been an intern, he finished up school at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, graduating from the Carlson School of Management in December 2022.

Chris has lived in Minnesota his whole life, growing up in Lakeville and recently moving to a house in Plymouth. Living in Minnesota his whole life has turned Chris into a long-suffering die-hard MN sports fan, especially the Vikings and Golden Gophers. If Chris could be anywhere, it would be in his seat at U.S. Bank stadium where he and his family have season tickets.

Emily is an Office Professional who started at Thrivent in January 2022 and supports financial advisors, Ann Kirchner and Julie Sherman. Emily enjoys having the opportunity to build personal relationships with each client. She also enjoys learning new things within her job that she can apply to her everyday life.

Emily loves spending her time with her family and playing board games with her husband Tony. On Sundays she enjoys serving at her church and exercising her faith throughout the week. 

Jennifer joined Thrivent as an Office Professional in 2018, supporting Ann Kirchner and Julie Sherman. Her ability to build relationships and love for checking tasks of her list ­­are an ideal fit for her role overseeing client service and support. She enjoys problem-solving for clients and strives to make their lives easier. 

Jennifer is married to Thomas (who also works for Thrivent in the home office) and is a certified boy-mom of three growing boys. If not shuttling kids to practice or watching games, she is supporting the local little league by sitting on their board of directors. Jen enjoys reading and traveling, most notably leading mission trips to Peru each year.   

Tina has worked for Scot and the team in the Burnsville Office since 2019. She enjoys helping to make sure they have a smooth and efficient running practice. She has a wide range of duties from clients scheduling, meeting prep and follow up, to planning client events for all to enjoy. She is often the first-person clients see when they come to the office, always greeting them with a smile.

She has been married to Brett since 1995. They have two adult children and currently lives in Lakeville, MN (although she grew up in SE Washington State and has lived in Philadelphia, Boston, Kansas City and Washington DC over the years as well). Tina enjoys supporting her kids in their activities and sports, hiking, running outside and is learning to enjoy yoga!
