While playing football in the NFL, I became very interested in the stock market and money management. As soon as I retired from the NFL, I started looking into different career paths, and the investment world seemed like a good fit for me. I joined Thrivent for multiple reasons. Thrivent has one of the strongest capital positions in the industry, and that was one of the biggest reasons I chose to work here. The Christian values and charitable mindset of the company were the other big attractants for me. I enjoy working with people and helping them set and achieve their goals in life. Coming up with a financial strategy and seeing my clients succeed will always be the greatest reward for my work. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I also enjoy being outdoors, whether that is hunting, fishing, relaxing on the lake, or playing golf in the summer. I am also very active in the community. Among other things, my wife and I started the Abbrederis S.O.W. Foundation in 2018. The foundation partners with the Human Service Departments of six local counties, where the large focus is giving back to children and families in need.

I enjoy the opportunity to educate people on important and often-times confusing aspects of the financial world with the goal of creating a plan that is ready for whatever life throws at them. It is incredibly satisfying to watch a person’s stress and anxiety melt away when they fully understand their plan and know they are prepared for the future. I was drawn to Thrivent because of the company’s Christian values and the products and services that they offer to help their clients take a financial path that fits their needs. I take pride in working for Thrivent and for the opportunity to improve the financial lives of my members, as well as inspiring them to Live Generously. Away from work, I love spending time with my wife, Angie, my son, Asher, and our two dogs. I’m passionate about having fun in life! I enjoy doing anything outdoors, such as deer hunting, fishing, cutting firewood, and swimming. I also enjoy competing in any type of sport, especially golf, basketball, and volleyball.

I joined the Two Lakes Group in June of 2022 because of it's team driven atmosphere and their dedication at helping others invest in their future. The generosity that Thrivent does not only for their clients but for the surrounding communities is what encouraged me to join their team.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband Joe, our two kids, family and friends. I also enjoy taking pictures, reading and visiting wineries.
