Financial Associate

Being a financial advisor for Thrivent has been the most rewarding job I have ever had. As an avid follower of stocks, bonds, and extensive experience navigating employee benefits it was an easy yes, to start my own practice in 2025. I was born and raised in Southern Illinois, but I love being a Kansas City transplant. Collectively, I have 19 years in management with two different companies. At just 18 I jumped into management with a company that was, at the time, the largest small chain store in America. After 5 years, I started working with a durable medical equipment company in Marion, Illinois. I was managing a new location that I opened and delivering oxygen and medical equipment to 5 different states. In 2010 I was transferred to Kansas City to manage the Lenexa office.

One of my favorite things about management was helping my employees with their benefits. Being an advisor for Thrivent combines my love of helping individuals find solutions for their future and guiding clients with long-term investments. It is very rewarding to offer hope in a situation that a client might think is hopeless. When I have the opportunity to explore with a client, pathways out of debt and a road towards retirement that they didn’t think was possible, it is the highlight of my day. It’s my job, and joy to assist in relieving the burden that debt can cause and offer hope and excitement for a vibrant and successful financial future.

When I am not at my office, I enjoy time with my beautiful wife, 3 kids, 3 bonus kids, and the most beautiful grandbaby, 2 dogs, and 1 ungrateful cat.
