Recently, I had the opportunity to help a friend decorate for one of my client's wedding celebrations, and it reminded me how special it is when professional relationships and personal relationships naturally become intertwined. Over the years, many of my clients have become much more than the people I meet with across a table. We celebrate milestones together, support one another through life's changes, and share in some of the moments that matter most. What often begins as a professional relationship grows into genuine friendship and community. One of the greatest gifts of this work is the relationships we build along the way. Financial guidance is important, but so much of what makes this work meaningful happens beyond the meetings and conversations. I love getting to bring my daughter with me when I spend time with the clients I serve, whether its cheering on accomplishments, meeting beloved family members, or, as in this case, spending time with a cherished four-legged friend.
