In my spare time I love volunteering, especially with Habitat for Humanity. How blessed I have been to travel to places like Fiji and Kauai for some of these builds. I credit my Lutheran upbringing, strong work ethic and desire to help other for my success.  I also lean on the support of my husband Chris and my children.

In my free time I do classes at Lifetime (creates accountability). We love boating and Minnesota outdoor life, trying to golf, reading and traveling.  Spending time with friends and family is at the top of my list.

With over 50 years’ experience in a variety of roles with Thrivent, and as a parent and grandparent, I am well positioned to understand and appreciate the concerns of all age groups and backgrounds, and am committed to listening and then responding to each individual’s needs. As a “working retiree” myself, I am particularly in touch with the needs of my age group, but continue to enjoy working with young people just beginning their planning as well.

Growing up in Wisconsin (yes, I’m a Cheese Head!), I was well aware of Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL). My parents and Grandparents all lived in the Appleton area. My Uncle was a Financial Representative for AAL and my Grandfather was the President of the Northern Wisconsin District of the American Lutheran Church. So, I’m not sure why it took me so long to finally find a home here at Thrivent. I joined the Stonebridge of Bloomington team in April 2019. Growing up with the Faith and Values of the Lutheran church makes Thrivent a perfect fit. It’s refreshing to be part of an organization that not only provides financial clarity, but also encourages focusing on what is meaningful to you, whether it is family, faith or giving back.

I currently call Mound home with my two adorable fur babies. My daughter Makenna is attending the University of Alabama studying Nursing. My son Nick lives in St Louis Park with his wife Mai.
