Make a difference in your community, with your community! Supporting your community is easy with Thrivent Action Teams. Apply to lead a group in a fundraiser, educational event or service activity. Then, gather a team of volunteers to make an impact together. Thrivent provides a customized kit of resources, along with up to $250 of seed money, to kickstart your project. Your team provides the passion to bring it to life. Thrivent Community - Angel Tree & Make It Merry Celebration
Let us provide the means to help you take action and make a real difference. Thrivent Community - Kishwaukee Valley Associates is partnering with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program to provide Christmas gifts for children who usually would go without. In late October angel tags (which indicate the age, gender, and gift ideas for the child receiving the presents) will be available at our office. After your shopping is complete, join us for our Make It Merry Celebration on 12/1/24. Come drop off your unwrapped gifts at the Egyptian Theatre and enjoy some refreshments before viewing It's A Wonderful Life on the big screen. Contact Tammy at 815-517-0021 ext. 5 to request tags. If you are unable to attend the celebration an alternative gift drop off can be arranged.
