I joined Thrivent in 2011 while I was finishing my degree at SDSU. I initially worked as an Office Professional for two other financial representatives, but in 2013 decided to join their team as a financial professional myself. I worked as a high school tutor before coming to Thrivent and loved the idea of using education to help people better understand their relationship with money. I’m also somewhat of a comedian (at least I think I am), and I’ve found that people enjoy the financial planning process much more when a bit of humor is involved. Being the lover of education that I am, I’ve earned various financial designations over the years to be able to help clients and stay as current as possible.

I was born and raised in California though am loving splitting my time now between there and Spring, Texas. When I'm not working you can find me volunteering with one of the several nonprofits I sit on the board for, singing unabashed at our local karaoke bar, hiking along one of our many beautiful local trails, or hanging out with friends and family.

Leo is an 11 year old Shih Tzu who loves belly rubs and sitting on clients' laps during difficult conversations. On Zoom meetings, you'll find him hard at work crunching numbers behind the scenes.

I joined Thrivent in 2014 to work with Sarah and our other team members at the time as the Office Manager. My sister in law had passed away a few months prior, leaving my brother and nieces with nothing. I saw how the lack of life insurance and proper financial planning devastated our family, and decided I wanted to help others avoid the same fate. Through the years I learned a lot and my responsibilities grew. In 2019 I became a licensed Associate to be able to do more for clients as well as have clients of my own.         

I’m also a San Diego native – I grew up in El Cajon and Harbison Canyon, but am loving life out in Texas as well. My mom runs a dog rescue and I was a boy scout growing up, so helping others is a big passion of mine. When I’m not working or volunteering you can often find me jamming on guitar or drums, playing airsoft with my friends, or hitting the weights at the gym.
