About Ryan Eckhardt

Ryan was born and raised in Altamont, Illinois,

where he still lives today with his wife, Mandy

(who is a speech-language pathologist), and

daughter, Olivia (who loves to play volleyball,

softball and golf). His hobbies include hunting,

fishing and traveling.

Ryan started his career after graduating from the Lumpkin

School of Business at Eastern Illinois University in 1996. He

is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and

a multi-year qualifier of the Top of the Table group through

MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table®)*, which is a group that

consists of approximately 1% of all financial professionals

worldwide. *MDRT is an industry honor based on sales excellence, outstanding client service, ethical conduct and professional knowledge. He is also part of a small group of wealth advisors

within Thrivent.

Ryan enjoys working with clients locally as well as teaming

with other Thrivent professionals and their clients through

our Joint Fieldwork Mentoring program. Ryan’s areas of

specialization include active portfolio management strategies,

tax efficiency concepts for retirement, estate strategies and

detailed financial planning solutions.
