A Passion for Helping Families
In my own life, several years ago, we were faced with the challenges many other families face. My parents were blessed with long life, but both suffered memory loss. My dad passed away in 2016, but my mom’s condition was more severe and has lasted for many more years.
Thankfully, many years before the memory loss, my father had consulted with a certified professional who helped put in place a comprehensive plan. This professional helped my family and I understand what to do when it came to the deployment of their retirement plan as it related to this stage of their life. As their son, the process of coordinating care for my parents was difficult, stressful, and heart wrenching. Through it all, we had a financial professional guiding us and encouraging us to the degree that she became like part of the family.
It was this experience that caused me to want to do for others what my mom and dad’s professional did for them and us.
I hold a Certification in Long Term Care (CLTC®) and I am a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®). I am prepared to help educate, encourage, and guide you as you create your own comprehensive retirement plan.
