I've been a Financial Advisor with Thrivent since 2015, helping individuals and families in Central Illinois make informed financial decisions that align with their values. I hold a degree in Finance from Illinois State University, which I graduated from in 1989. In 1999, my wife, Yvette, and I returned to the Bloomington-Normal area to raise our three children - Haley, Alex, and Maddie.
Yvette has worked as a medical transcriptionist for over 20 years, and we are both actively involved in our local faith community at Vale Church. Our daughters, Haley and Maddie, are both local educators, while our son, Alex, is a mechanical engineer based in Louisville, KY.
In addition to my work with Thrivent, Yvette and I are passionate about dog rescue. We've fostered over 200 dogs in the years since, and had three foster failures that went on to become beloved family members. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family (including the dogs) and getting outdoors, especially to work on my golf game.
You'll often see me and the rest of the Heart of Illinois Associates team out on the links raising money for causes we are passionate about, including the Salvation Army and other organizations making a difference right here in the Bloomington-Normal community.
