About Me

Rob Lord is a Financial Advisor with Thrivent and a member of Abundance Financial Group, serving individuals, families, retirees, and business owners throughout Northern Ohio. He is passionate about helping people make informed financial decisions, gain confidence in their future, and build personalized strategies that align with their goals and values.

Rob specializes in retirement income planning, investment management, Roth conversion strategies, Social Security planning, wealth accumulation, and legacy planning. He believes financial planning is about more than investments and numbers. It is about helping people live with purpose, protect what matters most, and enjoy the life they have worked hard to build.

Before entering the financial services profession, Rob served as a police officer. That experience instilled in him a deep commitment to integrity, service, and putting others first. Today, he brings those same values to every client relationship, combining practical guidance with a passion for financial education so clients can make confident and informed decisions.

Rob works with clients at every stage of life, from young families building a strong financial foundation to retirees navigating income planning and tax-efficient withdrawal strategies. He is known for his approachable style, straightforward advice, and dedication to building lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

Whether helping someone prepare for retirement, manage investments, reduce future taxes, or create a legacy for loved ones, Rob is committed to providing personalized guidance and helping clients pursue their financial goals with clarity and confidence.

When he is not meeting with clients, Rob enjoys spending time with family, serving his community, and staying active as a high school and club volleyball referee. The lessons of teamwork, discipline, and integrity that he values on the court are the same principles that guide his work with clients every day.
