About Me

I’m proud to work with Thrivent, where the focus is on helping people make the most of what they’ve been given. Every client’s situation is unique, and the goal is to build a lasting relationship that supports their financial goals through every stage of life. Whether it’s preparing for retirement, managing investments, or protecting loved ones from life’s unexpected events like long-term care needs, disability, or loss, the focus is always on providing clear, personalized guidance and peace of mind.

For business owners, I offer specialized support as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation – helping navigate business transitions and plan for what comes next with confidence and clarity. At Thrivent, money isn’t the end goal – it’s a tool. A tool to help create a life filled with purpose, generosity, and gratitude. The aim is to help individuals and families use what they have wisely so they can live the life they envision.

What Keeps Me Grounded
What Keeps Me Grounded

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jessica, and our two boys, Brooks and Bodhi. A lot of our best moments are pretty simple - grilling out together, being outside, and making the most of time as a family. When I get the chance, you’ll find me on the golf course, working out or playing basketball, all of which are great ways to unwind and stay active. I also enjoy staying involved in my kids’ activities and being part of their experiences as they grow. And no matter the season, we’re always cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.

This strategy suggests spending awards first and reaching for loans last—because a dollar borrowed is a dollar (+interest) that needs to be repaid. Here’s a snapshot of the spending order: 1️⃣ Need-based aid 2️⃣ Merit and other scholarships 3️⃣ 529 plans and savings 4️⃣ Household cash flow 5️⃣ Student loans You can discover more tips for prioritizing and planning for college costs here: https://bit.ly/4rS1sVv
