Money is a Tool, Not a Goal
My Wealth Management Philosophy
Growing up, one of my favorite games was Monopoly. I especially loved playing the game when I was winning—you know, piling up money, collecting homes and properties, and watching as people paid me rent. It felt amazing! But here’s the thing: at the end of the game... no matter how much I accumulated... when the game was over, it all had to go back in the box. The same is true in life. When our journey in life is over, all the material possessions we've accumulated can't go with us. It all goes back in the box. The important question to ask is how are we using our possessions to support the things that really matter (family, legacy, faith, friendship, etc).
This perspective is the foundation of my wealth management philosophy that Money is a tool, Not a goal.
My Role and Background:
Currently, I serve as Atlanta Market Director for Thrivent Financial, a Fortune 500 not-for-profit financial services organization. At Thrivent, we provide comprehensive financial solutions—from advice and investments to insurance and generosity programs—all designed to help clients live out their values. My role is focused on growth: growing our team of advisors, ensuring client satisfaction, and expanding our reach to make a difference in the Atlanta community.
My journey here has been built on 17 years of experience in financial services. Before Thrivent, I served as the Assistant Market Head for the Southeast Market at UBS Private Wealth Management, where I supported a team of 150 advisors managing $68 billion in assets. Earlier in my career, I served as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Private Bank, where I provided strategic wealth management solutions and niche lending products.
In addition to my professional experience, I’ve committed myself to continuous learning. I hold a degree in finance from Georgia Southern University, completed advanced studies in Wealth Management & Investment Management Theory at Yale School of Management, and am currently a 2026 Executive MBA candidate at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Lastly, I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®.
Beyond my wealth management career, I serve as the Legacy Pastor at Mountain West Church and as a board member of the MW Hope Center. These roles allow me to combine my expertise as a wealth management professional with my heart for service, empowering individuals and families to thrive both financially and spiritually.
I’m passionate about working with clients to craft financial plans that reflect their unique goals and values. I’m also committed to growing a team of like-minded financial advisors. If you’re ready to take the next step in your financial journey—or if you’re considering joining a purpose-driven team—I’d love to connect.
Let’s create something meaningful together!
