The Brainerd Lakes Area has shaped who I am. Outside of work, you'll often find me mountain biking the Cuyuna trails, fishing, hiking, archery, or kayaking. Those experiences remind me of something I believe is important: life is about more than work. It's about having the freedom to spend time with the people, activities, and causes that matter most.
That perspective carries into my professional life. I believe workplace retirement plans have the potential to impact far more than an employee's retirement years. They can influence families, strengthen organizations, and contribute to healthier communities. That's one of the reasons I've chosen to focus on employer-sponsored retirement plans and participant retirement readiness.
My approach centers around two objectives: participant success and organizational success. When employees are engaged and prepared for the future, organizations are often better positioned to support their workforce objectives. I enjoy helping employers, plan sponsors, and participants better understand the role a retirement plan can play in supporting those goals.
Just as no trail is navigated alone, I believe meaningful planning often benefits from collaboration. While my primary focus is workplace retirement plans, I work alongside specialized professionals and planning resources to help address broader needs that may arise for business owners, employees, and their families.
Giving back is also important to me. As an active volunteer with organizations such as the Babinski Foundation, Smiles for Jake, and the CRMC Championship, I've seen firsthand how strong communities are built when people come together to support one another.
At the end of the day, I want to be a resource people can rely on. Whether I'm working with a business owner, a plan sponsor, or an employee, my goal is to listen first, understand what's important, and help connect people with the resources and support they need to move forward with confidence.
