5th Annual Summer of Hope Food Drive

-
46 Hartford Ave, Scituate, RI
Cindy’s Diner and Restaurant

Help feed children in our community!

New Day Planning and Cindy’s Diner and Restaurant invite you to join us to provide a hunger-free summer for students and families in our local Scituate community and other communities around Rhode Island.

This event helps us address a critical need for students who don’t have access to school-provided free or reduced-priced breakfasts and lunches during the summer. Help ensure students and families facing food insecurity can look forward to summer as a time for fun, not hunger.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Fill a shopping bag with as many non-perishable food items as you can,

such as, but not limited to, these. Any quantity is appreciated:

• Boxed mac and cheese • Canned chicken, tuna or ham • Hamburger Helper

• Boxed mashed potatoes • Rice • Soup • Pasta • Pasta sauce • Powdered lemonade

• Peanut butter • Jelly • Crackers • Oatmeal • Canned fruit

2. Bring the filled bag to:

Cindy’s Diner and Restaurant, 46 Hartford Ave, Scituate, RI

Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

3. While you’re there, enjoy a free meal courtesy of Cindy’s Diner!

Thank you for your generosity!
