Lee Ficken joined Thrivent following his graduation from Vanderbilt in 2012. While he enjoys the technical side of planning, his true passion is in the meeting room with clients, helping them find clarity and purpose in their financial lives.

Lee and his wife, Meredith, live in Fairview with their sons, Aaron (4) and Max (2). Outside of work, Lee loves spending time in the outdoors, including traveling, hiking, skiing, golf (hoping this is the year he beats his brother, Luke).

Luke Ficken joined Thrivent back in 2009. He has excelled in various leadership roles in his time here, including holding the Regional Vice President title for an eight-state region. Luke decided to jump back into being a full-time financial advisor at the beginning of 2024, led by the desire to build deep, meaningful relationships with clients again.

Beyond his work, Luke and his wife, Junae, love quality time with their three girls, Jennaleigh (14), Gracie (12), and Lillian (9). Luke also enjoys flying, mountain biking, and being a regular at a few of his favorite select restaurants.

Jim Cowgill has been with Thrivent since 2013, with 7 years in the middle as the Regional Development Director in the Memphis area. He is a passionate teacher and educator for his clients, and with his timely dad jokes, he fits right in with our team.

Jim is married to Rachel, and they have three daughters, Morgan (15), Teagan (11), and Shannon (9). Outside of work, when he isn’t driving his daughters to gymnastics, cheer, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and color guard, Jim is an avid golfer and a devoted fan of Chicago sports – especially the Bears and Cubs.

Caleb Ficken became an advisor at Thrivent back in 2015, following his uncle and two cousins into the business. Located in Huntsville, Caleb brings a level of expertise to government workers, as well as helping his clients with complex insurance and planning needs.

Caleb and his wife, Nikki, love to create fun experiences for their two children, Mack (3) and Brooks (2). Caleb also enjoys watching sports, hunting, and serving his local community and church.

Kevin Kostyk began his career at Thrivent in 2019, shortly after earning his Finance degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). In 2024, Kevin merged his practice with Narrow Gate Group, bringing his love for people and his expertise in faith-based, holistic planning to the team.

Kevin married his wife, Haley, in 2023. The two of them love to make experiences together, including dinner dates and travelling to see all 30 MLB baseball stadiums. Along with this, Kevin enjoys watching baseball, cooking, and fishing and hiking in the Tennessee outdoors.

Rains Wall joined the Narrow Gate Group team at the beginning of 2022, inspired by the lack of financial resources available to professional musicians during the early stages of his touring career. Growing up with a dad in the financial advising business, Rains is passionate about building relationships and healthy financial planning habits for his clients.

Rains and his wife, Christie, have three children – Jonah (5), Rosemary (3), and Eleanor, the newest addition to their family at the end of 2025. Rains has toured in the Christian music industry for over 10 years with artists such as Sidewalk Prophets and Rhett Walker. He still finds free time to play drums, as well as enjoying the outdoors and drinking great coffee.

Stephanie Hughes has been serving clients with Narrow Gate Group since 2019 and proudly calls Fairview home. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Administration, she is passionate about helping others and building lasting relationships with our clients.

Outside of work, Stephanie and her husband, Chris, are active in sports and mentorship, now in their fifth year coaching high school girls’ flag football together. They are also passionate supporters of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). Stephanie enjoys family time with their two children – Hailey, finishing her freshman year at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and Cade, a seventh grader who competes in multiple sports – and prioritizes faith and community in everything they do.

Renee Guidry joined the Narrow Gate Group practice in 2025 and immediately became an integral member of the team. With a background in supervisory and assistant roles previously, Renee has continued to lean into her strengths of organization and excellent client experience.

Renee loves spending quality time with her husband, Lee Guidry, and her two sons, Landon and Jax. In her spare time, she loves hosting game nights, backyard bonfires, and attending sporting events (Geaux Tigers!).
