Juggling work, family, and those late-night library sessions, I didn't just learn English; I thrived academically, earning degrees in Psychology and Human Resource Development. My journey started with an immigrant's courage and blossomed into a leader's dedication. Being from a different culture and learning to navigate a new one has gifted me with a deep appreciation for individual differences and the understanding that each person's needs are unique. Furthermore, having close family members with disabilities has instilled in me a deep well of compassion and a strong desire to support families facing similar circumstances. For over a decade, my work in higher education focused on serving often-overlooked students, honing my ability to understand diverse needs and empower individuals to reach their full potential. It was through these experiences that my passion for guiding people naturally extended to their financial lives, recognizing it as such a vital foundation for opportunity and security.
Growing up experiencing the challenges of poverty, I understand firsthand the systemic hurdles and the lack of financial know-how that can hold folks back. Even after arriving in the US, I navigated the complexities of poverty until I earned my degrees and built my career. And through it all, my family has been my constant. Raising my son as a single mother in this new country taught me resilience, the weight of financial responsibility, and the immense joy of watching him grow into an incredible adult.

Now, I'm blessed to have an amazing husband whose unwavering support empowers me every single day. As a compassionate Christian, my journey from those early struggles, achieved through hard work, perseverance, and the love of my family, has given me a deep and practical understanding of the financial world.
