
As I was growing up, my parents encouraged my siblings and I to pursue godly discipline and wisdom: they worked hard, saved well, avoided debt, and lived freely and generously. At the same time, I watched them host marriage courses at church and in our home, and noted the stressors that can break families apart, namely, in areas of finance.
