I work with individuals, families, retirees, and business owners who want more than transactional financial advice. They’re looking for someone who will take the time to understand what matters to them and help bring the different pieces of their financial life together.
I commonly work with:
- Young families building a strong financial foundation and protecting the people and things that matter most.
- Individuals and families looking for guidance around investments, protection, and retirement planning.
- Pre-retirees and retirees preparing for retirement and navigating the decisions that come with it.
- Business owners working to coordinate their business and personal financial goals.
Every situation is different, but the goal is the same: to make informed decisions and have a financial plan that supports the life you want to live.

Before becoming a financial advisor, I worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant at a local hospital. It was a very different career, but I enjoyed working directly with people, getting to know them, and helping them make progress toward something that was important to them. My interest in financial planning developed while I was earning my bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Personal Finance. The more I learned, the more I realized how many financial decisions people are expected to make without really knowing where to turn for guidance. That ultimately led me to change careers and become a financial advisor.
Today, I work with individuals, families, retirees, and business owners on the financial decisions that come with different stages of life. That may mean preparing for retirement, investing for the future, protecting a family, or simply getting a better understanding of where they stand financially. I try to keep those conversations straightforward, explain the options in plain English, and help people make decisions that make sense for their situation. My faith is also an important part of who I am and one of the reasons I chose Thrivent. I believe we should be good stewards of what we’ve been given. Financial planning isn’t just about accumulating money. It’s about using your resources wisely to provide for your family, prepare for the future, give generously, and pursue the things that are important to you.

My wife and I have been married for eight years, and we have two young children who keep life busy and fun. Outside of work, most of my time is spent with them. We enjoy getting outside, visiting local parks, having movie nights at home, and working on projects around the house and yard. Family is a big part of my life, and becoming a husband and father has certainly shaped the way I look at the future and the decisions we make along the way. Like most families, we're balancing work, raising kids, planning ahead, and trying to be intentional with the time and resources we have. We’re proud to call the Conover, Newton, and Hickory area home. I enjoy being part of this community, raising our family here, and working with many of the same individuals and families I see around town.
