I met my wonderful wife, Elizabeth, in 2003, and we were married in 2005. Together, we’ve built a life centered around family, laughter, and shared experiences. We welcomed our daughter, Mallory, in 2006, and our son, Patrick, in 2008. We’re also proud dog lovers to our two energetic (and slightly crazy) mixed breeds, Frank and Sweet Dee.
Elizabeth is a CPA with Breakthrough T1D. She’s also an avid runner who has completed numerous races over the years, including the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and the Shippey 100-Mile Trail Relay. During her daily runs, she often pauses to capture beautiful nature photography on her phone—including the train track image featured on this homepage. Many of her photos have been framed and sold, and can be found displayed in local St. Charles businesses.
Mallory currently attends the University of Missouri (Mizzou), where she is studying psychology. After graduation, she plans to open a private practice focused on substance abuse therapy. She is one of the funniest people I know and has a natural ability to make anyone smile.
Patrick is passionate about hockey, playing for both his high school varsity team and the St. Louis Sting Hockey Club. He plans to continue playing at the collegiate level. Outside the rink, Patrick has a strong interest in cars—especially German sports cars and supercars—and enjoys spending his time working on and modifying his own vehicle.
When we’re not at the hockey rink, we love spending time together traveling, playing board games, going for drives, watching movies, and simply making each other laugh. Like most families with young adults, busy schedules and digital distractions can make time together rare—which is why Elizabeth and I truly cherish those moments when we can all be together.

Before joining Thrivent as a Financial Professional, I spent 20 years in the automotive industry. I also had the opportunity to co-own and operate a tattoo shop in St. Charles County alongside my amazing wife—a rewarding experience that strengthened both our business and creative skills.
Outside of my professional career, I have a deep passion for hockey and giving back to the next generation. I’m currently in my 10th season as a youth hockey coach and have had the privilege of coaching with the St. Peters Hockey Club, St. Louis Sting, and Francis Howell Central Hockey Club. Helping young athletes grow their love for the game while developing confidence and discipline is incredibly meaningful to me. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a player achieve something they once thought was out of reach.
I also stay active on the ice, playing adult hockey several times a week. Our team is made up primarily of guys 40 and over who still love the game—even if we don’t quite move like we used to!
At the core of everything I do is a strong sense of purpose: to help others, to be someone people can rely on, and to make a positive, lasting impact in their lives.
