Family Life
I met my wonderful wife, Elizabeth, in 2003 and we were married in 2005. We welcomed our daughter Mallory in 2006 and our son Patrick in 2008. We are dog lovers and have 2 crazy muts, Frank and Sweet Dee.
Elizabeth is a Senior Accountant for AEG Productions and splits her time in their office near Forest Park and her home office. She is an avid runner and has completed numerous races over the years with her highlights being the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and Shippey 100 Mile trail relay. While on her daily runs Elizabeth always stops and take fantastic nature photographs with her phone (including the train track picture on this home page). She has framed and sold a number of these pictures and you can find them on display at local St Charles Businesses.
Mallory is a National Junior Honor Roll Society member and has been dancing with Performing Arts Center in St. Charles for over 10 years. She currently is in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip-hop. She also is a dance assistant and helps teach 5 year olds ballet fundamentals Mallory carries a love and strong talent for Art. She is one of the funniest people I know and can make anyone smile!
Patrick is a member of St Peters Hockey Club in their travel "A" division. He is a 2 time Missouri State Blue Note Cup Hockey Champion. He first won the title in 2019 and again this 2021 season. He has won medals in multiple tournaments around the Midwest and has consistently been one of the leading scorers for his teams. He has done this while maintaining a 3.75 GPA in school.
When we aren't at the dance studio or hockey rink we like to spend time together hiking, riding bikes on the Katy Trail, playing board games, watching movies and making each other laugh. Like any teenagers, my kids loves their phones and Netflix so getting time away from those to spend time together is something Elizabeth and I cherish.

I was in the automotive industry for 20 years before joining Thrivent as a Financial Professional. For the last 12 years I provided dealerships and their clients compliance, safeguards and financial solutions to all of their automotive needs. I also owned and operated a tattoo shop in St Charles County for 5 years with my amazing wife.
I am a volunteer youth hockey coach for the St Peters Hockey Club. I currently coach boys 12 and under in their A level Travel division. I also volunteer for the club and help out during the offseason with on ice instruction. I have a huge passion for helping kids grow their love for the game and helping them set and achieve their goals! There is no better reward than seeing the joy and look on a kids face when they accomplish something they thought they couldn't do.
I also play adult hockey 2 times per week. My team is comprised mainly of guys 35 and over who love the game, even if we can't move as fast as we used to!
A big purpose for me in life is to help others and be someone they can count on. Whether it was during my 6 years as a children's ministry teacher, my time spent in the auto industry, teaching the kids (and parents) I coach, encouraging and pushing my teammates, or providing a comfortable and clean place to get a tattoo I have always found a way to fulfill that purpose. When Thrivent called to discuss an opportunity to join their not-for-profit financial services company in the industry I had to jump on it. With Thrivent I have found the best way to use my background in finance and my love for helping people.
