My wife, son, and I live in Pleasant Hill, CA, and am a Southern California native. I enjoy a good book, and find myself drawn into books about financial history. I love outdoor activities including hiking, camping, and backpacking. My love of the outdoors drew me to my first career in the environmental consulting field where I performed due diligence, conducted various kinds of sampling, and wrote technical reports.
