For me, it’s always been about people—especially family. I’ve been married to my best friend for 38 years, and together we’ve built a life centered around the things that matter most. We have three grown children and a lively crew of grandchildren who all live nearby, which is something I treasure every day. That sense of connection and care for others naturally carries into the way I work with my clients.
My path here wasn’t a straight line, but it’s always been rooted in helping people. I started my career as a teacher, later worked alongside independent business owners, and in 2014 found my home at Thrivent. What I’ve come to love most is helping people navigate moments that can feel uncertain or overwhelming—and bringing a sense of clarity and calm along the way.
Today, I work with individuals and families to help make sense of their financial lives, especially during times of change. Whether you’re suddenly single, getting close to retirement, or simply ready for a partner to walk alongside you, I’m here for that. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
I really enjoy taking something that feels complicated and breaking it down into something more manageable. It’s that moment when things start to click—when you understand your options, see a path forward, and feel a bit more at ease—that means the most to me.
As you get closer to Medicare-eligible age, I can help with that transition as well. I specialize in Medicare and can walk you through your options, explain what matters most, and support you each step of the way so you can feel confident in your decisions.
Giving back is also a meaningful part of my life. I care deeply about my community and enjoy finding ways to stay involved and make a difference. That same mindset carries into my work—it’s about building real relationships and being someone you can count on over time.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to walk alongside you, help you feel more confident about where you’re headed, and remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.
