Financial Guidance with Purpose

I believe great financial advice should feel clear, personal, and grounded in what truly matters to you. As a Financial Advisor, I help individuals and families make confident financial decisions—so they can move forward with clarity and purpose. My work is centered on thoughtful planning. That means going beyond investments to look at the full picture: income strategies, tax efficiency, risk management, and long-term goals.

Every recommendation I make is guided by a commitment to you.

A Clear, Personalized Path Forward

Clients often tell me they appreciate my straightforward approach and my ability to explain complex financial topics in plain language. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I take the time to understand your priorities, your concerns, your values, and the life you want to live, then design a plan that aligns your money with those goals. In my practice, the focus is on smart planning, steady guidance, and long-term relationships. Whether you’re preparing for retirement, transitioning into it, or simply seeking a clearer strategy, my role is to help you move forward with confidence—knowing you have a plan built for you.

Personalized Service Built Around You

When you work with me, we begin with conversations that help clarify what is important to you. I take time to understand your preferences, needs, and priorities so we can explore financial strategies that align with your situation. Through education and collaboration, I outline options and explain how they work, helping you evaluate the potential benefits and considerations of each choice so you can make informed decisions about your financial future.

My goal is to provide information and guidance to help you navigate your financial decisions with greater clarity and understanding.

Kristen Mohler, Office Professional

I bring a lifelong connection to the financial services industry and a strong commitment to client service in my role at Thrivent. I was introduced to this work at an early age through my father, a Thrivent financial advisor who has served clients throughout Northwest Ohio for more than 20 years. During high school, I spent several summers working as an Office Professional in his practice, gaining early experience in client service and daily operations. I have had the opportunity to attend many Thrivent-sponsored events and participate in community action teams to make a positive impact in my community.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and my master’s degree from Boston University, and I am a Registered Dietitian. I am pursuing licensure as a financial advisor and aim to partner with Lisa on her advisory team. In my current role, I serve as Lisa’s primary administrative and client service partner. I manage day-to-day client communications and scheduling, including phone support, calendar coordination, email triage, and follow-up. I take pride in providing a high level of service with strong attention to detail, helping ensure every client experience is seamless, responsive, and professional.

I live in the Columbus, Ohio area with my husband, Trevor, and our two dogs, Leroy and Jolene. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, thrifting, spending time outdoors with my dogs, and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Saving for retirement? Here’s something to consider: different accounts come with different tax implications. By spreading your savings across taxable, tax-deferred and tax-free accounts, you can give yourself more flexibility in retirement. This makes it easier for you to manage withdrawals, avoid tax spikes and lower your Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI). Get in touch to discuss the right approach for your unique situation.
