Last week was FILLED with celebration! A few highlights: honoring the Latinos 40 Under 40, celebrating the birthdays of some of my favorite people in the world, and celebrating the Latina Lawyers Bar Association annual gala, recognizing our amiga Azucena Maldonado for her achievements with the Latina Golfers Association. It’s always a pleasure to be in the company of these inspiring individuals, cheers to you all!

That’s a wrap, September (with October following closely behind it)! The month was filled with travel, and memorable moments with friends and colleagues, old and new, across the states!
I had the pleasure of representing Team Thrivent at the United States Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Annual Conference in Atlanta, where I met business owners and chamber leaders coming in from throughout the country. And, I can’t lie, I was pretty excited to meet a certain duck, live at the conference too!
I am a big proponent of balance, and I’m glad time with friends was also included in my travels over those weeks.

It was a BUSY weekend! #TeamThrivent joined alongside Habitat LA and Habitat SGV to begin framing walls to rebuild homes that were demolished by the Eaton fires. Then, I joined ALPFA for a Women's Brunch at Tacolina, where I got to spend time with these lovely ladies. This happened to take place during Day 1 of fasting, so it was a unique challenge to partake in this event. Creating new connections and building upon existing ones is one of my favorite parts of the work I get to do!
This week I joined the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association for a fun night, hosted at the beautiful California Club in DTLA. It’s always fun to meet new people, and maybe even more special to run into old friends, especially when you didn’t know you were both part of the Titan network— Go Titans! 🐘

One of my priorities is to get re-involved with some of my favorite organizations, so of course the @Latina Golfers Association was at the top of the list! I enjoyed the monthly golf outing this past weekend, where I got to see familiar faces and meet new friends. A little rain couldn’t hold us back, and I can’t wait to get back on the green soon!
