Helping individuals and families align their financial decisions with their values, prepare for retirement with confidence, and build a legacy that reflects what matters most.
As a financial advisor with Thrivent, I believe financial planning is about more than numbers. It is about understanding your story, clarifying your priorities, and creating a thoughtful path forward. My role is to help make complex financial decisions feel understandable, intentional, and connected to the life that you seek to live.

Before becoming a financial advisor, I spent 11 years in accounting, including serving as Director of Finance and Accounting for a local non-profit in Colorado Springs. That experience strengthened my appreciation for stewardship, service, and the importance of using resources wisely. Today, I bring that financial foundation and the same heart for service to my work with clients by listening carefully, explaining options clearly, and helping people make financial decisions with confidence.
My educational background includes a master’s degree in accounting and financial management, a bachelor’s degree in intercultural studies, and an associate degree in American Sign Language. Together, these areas of study support both the technical knowledge and cross-cultural communication I bring to my work with clients.
I am also a wife, a mother of two children with special needs, and a stepmother to two daughters. My family’s experiences have given me a personal understanding of the planning, advocacy, resilience, and long-term thinking that families often carry. This perspective is an important part of why I am passionate about helping others feel seen, supported, and better prepared for the
future.
My Christian faith shapes the way I serve others. I approach each relationship with care, integrity, and respect, recognizing that every person’s circumstances, values, and goals are unique.

I became a financial advisor because I wanted to combine my financial background with my desire to help people. Too often, individuals and families feel uncertain about retirement, overwhelmed by financial choices, or unsure whether their current strategy truly reflects their priorities. I want clients to have a trusted partner who will help them ask the right questions, understand their options, and move forward with greater clarity.
For me, success is not simply reaching a financial milestone. It is helping people use their resources purposefully while supporting the people they love, preparing for the future, giving generously, and creating a meaningful legacy.

I primarily work with people who want clear, compassionate guidance and a financial plan that reflects their values, responsibilities, and hopes for the future. I especially want to serve:
- Families with special needs who are balancing today’s responsibilities with long-term care, support, and legacy planning for a loved one
- Members of the Deaf community who value a patient, accessible, and relationship-centered financial planning experience
- Women who find themselves in need of a trusted guide as they navigate unfamiliar financial decisions or who want to become more financially literate and confident before a major life transition occurs
Our work begins with a conversation. I take time to understand where you are today, what matters most to you, and what questions are keeping you from moving forward. Together, we can develop a personalized financial strategy and adjust it as your life changes. You can expect straightforward communication, thoughtful guidance, and a relationship built on trust.
Whether you are caring for a family member with special needs, seeking an accessible and relationship-centered planning experience, navigating life after becoming single or widowed, or simply ready to grow in financial knowledge and confidence, I would be honored to hear your story and explore how I may be able to help.
