About Laun Dunn
I'm proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. I provide personalized financial guidance to people at all stages of life. At Thrivent, we view money not as a goal, but as a tool — one that can afford you a life rich in meaning and gratitude. We believe humanity thrives when individuals make the most of all they've been given. I'm here to help you do just that.
- Having been a stay- at -home mom, served as the director of multiple non-profits, and a self-employed business owner, I learned to prioritize where money goes. I want to help individuals and families build a strong financial house. I tell my clients to name every dollar that comes to you, otherwise, it will name itself as is walks out the door! Having your financial house in order doesn’t mean that bad things won’t happen, it means that if they do, you are prepared to handle it.

My Family
- Dan, Collin - son, Lindsay - daughter, and our pets Marcy, Bert, Ernie, & Sven
- Every day is an adventure! Dan and I definitely fall into the “weekend warriors of home improvement” category. We have been working diligently on transforming our backyard into our own staycation paradise! We also enjoy summer car shows and our annual trip to the Outer Banks.

My Community
- I love to be out and about in the community! In 2017, Galesburg welcomed us to the area as newcomers. Each day, I count my blessings that we took the leap of faith to move here! My former role at the United Way of Knox County, allowed me to witness firsthand the generous nature of our community and build strong ties to local nonprofit organizations. I firmly believe that it is in serving others, we find our true meaning. You can find me packing meals with Blessings in a Backpack, donning a costume to fit the theme of the annual Thrive events, serving on the board of directors for WIRC Community Action, and supporting Costa Catholic Academy. This year, I am proud and honored to be the President of the Galesburg Noon Lions Club.
