About Kristy Coleman
I grew up in Bottineau, North Dakota, where hard work and perseverance were part of everyday life. Early on, I believed that success was measured by a bank account balance—but over time, I realized that living a fulfilling, purpose-driven life matters more.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in Finance from the University of North Dakota in December 2024, I knew I wanted to help others navigate their financial journeys with confidence. Today, I serve as a Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors for the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals, where I stay closely connected to the local community and to the challenges and goals of fellow young professionals.
As a financial advisor with Thrivent, I work with people who are building their careers, juggling responsibilities, and trying to make smart decisions about their future. I understand how overwhelming it can feel—and how easy it is to put off planning until “later.” But the truth is, small, intentional steps now can create major impact down the road.
I’m not here for quick transactions—I’m here to build genuine, long-term relationships. Whether you're buying your first home, managing student debt, planning a wedding, or simply trying to get ahead, I want to help you take control of your finances and align your money with your values.
My mission is to help change the trajectory of my clients' financial paths—while also giving back and making a difference in the community we all call home.
