I grew up in Demopolis, Alabama, and attended Auburn University. In 2004, I met my husband, Doug, while in Africa, and we were married the following year. In 2010, we moved from Alabama to the suburbs of Salt Lake City, Utah, where Doug served as pastor of Gospel Presbyterian Church. We’re incredibly proud of our five children: Moses, Makenna, Miriam, Genevieve, and Judah.
After many wonderful years out west, we’re thrilled to be back in the South, now calling Gainesville, Georgia, home. I’m grateful for my new career with Thrivent, where I have the privilege of helping others achieve their financial goals and pursue their dreams.
I'm proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. I provide personalized financial guidance to people at all stages of life. At Thrivent, we view money not as a goal, but as a tool — one that can afford you a life rich in meaning and gratitude. We believe humanity thrives when individuals make the most of all they've been given. I'm here to help you do just that.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples in Gainesville, GA and the surrounding Hall County area navigate the transition into retirement.
If you’re within 10 years of retirement or already retired, you’re likely facing important decisions. Questions like:
• When should I take Social Security?
• How do I turn my savings into reliable income?
• What do I need to do about RMDs?
• How are taxes going to impact my retirement?
• What should I do with an old 401(k) or IRA?
These aren’t one-size-fits-all decisions, and getting them right can make a big difference.
I work with clients to simplify these decisions, create a clear retirement income strategy, and help them feel confident about where they stand. My approach starts with understanding what matters most to you - your goals, your family, and the kind of life you want in retirement, then building a plan that supports it.
I most often work with:
- Individuals and couples approaching retirement
- Recently retired households adjusting to income distributions
- Clients with IRAs, 401(k)s, or rollover decisions
- Those looking to simplify and organize their financial picture
- Bachelors of Entrepreneurship, Auburn University
- Series 7 - General Securities Representative
- Series 66 - Investment Adviser Representative
- Securities Industry Essentials
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Tennessee
- Utah
