MY 'WHY'
If you grew up in Iowa or the Midwest like I did, you’ll find there are some common characteristics of many people who choose to embrace our lifestyle – three of which impacted me greatly and I choose to bring into my business and effect how I serve my clients each day.
A sense of community – your friends and neighbors become like family. If anyone is in need, I’ll argue we’re the best at coming together to provide love and support. I believe that when we’re comfortable with our finances, we have even more freedom to impact our communities and live generously with our time and resources.
A strong faith – I believe God has called me to do the work I do. Thrivent found me when I was searching for a sense of purpose where I could use my gifts and talents to help people and be able to live out my faith. Now I’m blessed to be able to help people create financial strategies to encourage them to live out their goals and dreams and what they’ve been called to do as well.
Hard work – last but definitely not least. Growing up on a farm there was always work to be done, and farmers are some of the hardest working people I know to this day. One of my favorite movie quotes sums this up well. “It’s supposed to be hard. If it wasn’t hard everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great." Working hard for my clients is something I take pride in. Let’s do great things together.
