When I discovered the impact of my father, the cornerstone of our family being diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), I accompanied my parents to their Thrivent advisor for advice on how to keep moving forward. Not only was this scary for my mom, but life changed for our family. The financial guidance he shared with us gave us confidence and security in the future. Personal financial planning changed our lives for the better, and the process moved my heart. I wanted to help families in this way too.
After 20 years of being a certified veterinary technician and loving all the animals in my life, I mapped out a new path with Thrivent along with the support of my husband Paul. Now a seasoned financial advisor, I look back and know wholeheartedly that I landed in just the right spot of life…the perfect ending that I never saw coming.
