What’s It Like to Have a Financial Advisor?
What’s It Like to Have a Financial Advisor?

I’m from the small town of Manawa, WI, and meaningful relationships have shaped who I am. My relationship with God is the foundation of my life, and it guides the way I show up for others. I believe every person is created with purpose, and I strive to treat each client as a brother or sister in Christ — with respect, compassion, and genuine care.

Whether you’re a new graduate seeking direction, raising a family and needing a financial plan and protection, approaching retirement and looking for a distribution strategy, already retired and wanting tax‑efficient solutions, or hoping to pass on your legacy with generosity, I’ll be here as a steady resource.

Faithful Finances

I believe people make better decisions about their future when they feel understood, supported, and equipped with clear guidance. God is my foundation, and He calls us to walk with one another through every season of life.

Thrivent allows me to serve in a way that aligns with my faith and values. As a Christian organization, Thrivent’s mission reflects what I believe deeply: that being wise with money is part of living a content, purposeful, and generous life. I’m here to listen, offer guidance that fits who you are, and help you make decisions that support both your personal and generosity goals.

A Little About Me
A Little About Me

I’ve spent my whole life in service‑focused roles — whether I was a cashier at a gas station, a CNA in a nursing home, a middle school teacher for 12 years, or the owner of Josh’s Cornstand. No matter what the job, I’ve always taken pride in doing my best for the people I meet.

When I was 16, I started Josh’s Cornstand with my grandpa. He worked alongside me for the first three years until I could afford my own truck. Since opening in 2003, he has passed on, but the stand has continued to grow throughout the greater Crandon area. I learned that people value honesty, reliability, and genuine effort. Everyone who stops by the stand matters to me. I care about who they are, what they’re going through, and how their life is unfolding.

Those same values guide me now as a financial advisor with Thrivent. My goal is to be a steady, trustworthy resource for you and for our community. You matter — and I’m here to serve with the same integrity and care that has shaped every step of my journey.

My Family
My Family

I’m married to my best friend, Kimberly — truly everything I prayed for and more. Together we have a blended family of six: three boys and three girls. Even though three of our kids are out of the house, we still make it a priority to spend time together doing the things we love.

I enjoy hunting and competitive fishing with Korotka Fishing alongside my brother, my dad, and my son Fischer. Those moments outdoors — and the time spent with family — keep me grounded and grateful for the blessings God has placed in my life.
