About Joseph Wollersheim

Growing up in Appleton, WI taught me to appreciate what "real cold" feels like (and is where my family still resides today). As a young man I was compelled to "go west and explore" which is why I attended the University of Montana studying Communications and spending most weekends hiking. Upon graduation a series of events led me to Washington, DC where I worked for five years on public policy as my wife Ashley spent her time as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher for DC public schools. Before settling down and starting a family I somehow talked Ashley into joining the Peace Corps with me were we lived as volunteers in a small village in Mali (West Africa) with no running water or electricity for two years. We moved to Arizona in 2010 where we are raising our three crazy kids:Mia (7), Tucker (5), and Emy (3). We enjoy family hikes, watching the Green Bay Packers, and going out for ice cream. My wife and I are very involved at Living Streams Church and central Phoenix Young Life.
