As the son of an Army Major, I grew up across the country—from Washington State to Texas to Georgia. After meeting my wife in 2008, we settled in Fergus Falls, Minnesota in 2012 to start our family. I joined Thrivent in 2020 and have since dedicated my work to serving the Fergus Falls, Battle Lake, and surrounding communities locally, as well as clients nationwide. My passion is helping business owners, families, and individuals find clarity and confidence in their financial lives.
My wife Sofia and I have been married since 2009 and have the privilege of raising 4 incredible children. Our values are rooted in our Christian faith and our love for family and community.
I founded Threshold Financial in 2025 because so many of life’s most important moments happen at a threshold—stepping into retirement, navigating career changes, planning for family, or leaving a legacy. I wanted a name that reflects both transition and welcome: the crossing point where clarity and confidence replace uncertainty. Threshold also speaks to the standards we uphold—integrity, excellence, and care—as we guide clients toward purposeful financial decisions that align with their deepest values.
At the center of all I do is a focus on your purpose, not just your money. What do you want these dollars to accomplish? This simple but profound question drives every conversation and action, ensuring your financial strategy reflects not only numbers, but the life and legacy you want to build.

I've coached at my local CrossFit gym for the past decade. I see so many parallels between physical discipline and financial planning: both demand consistent, intentional action over time in order to achieve meaningful results. Just as fitness isn’t built in a day, a solid financial plan grows from steady habits, small course corrections, and the commitment to keep showing up.
My family and I worship at CrossRoads Church in Fergus Falls on a weekly basis. I enjoy singing on the Worship Team, and my wife loves serving behind the scenes on the Events Committee. Our involvement here is both a joy and an anchor point for our family’s faith and community life.
I’m also passionate about supporting our local pregnancy center, Health Resources. Their work of walking alongside women and families with compassion and practical resources is one I’m honored to champion both personally and professionally.
I serve as the director of our local AWANA children’s ministry. Each week I help guide 70 volunteers as we teach and mentor 120 kids, focusing on Scripture and cultivating a love for God’s Word. It’s a role that blends leadership with service—providing direction, support volunteers, and investing in the spiritual formation of the next generation.
