About Jim Wegener

I started working with Thrivent in 2003 and I enjoy what I do because I get to work with people with similar values. I am married to Melissa, a real estate agent, and we have two children, Bella and Caleb. I enjoy running, lifting weights, volleyball, softball, bicycling, hanging out with family and friends, and watching sports. We are actively involved with our church and our community. I earned my B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa. I have my FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, life and health licenses and I hold several designations including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®), Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), all of which help me to provide financial guidance that is in the best interest of the clients I serve.
