Meet our summer intern, Ben Lewis!
Ben is a senior at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where he studies economics and financial markets along with physics. He also competes as a Division I Nordic skier.
Ben is working alongside the Thrivent-Blaine team, gaining hands-on experience. Outside of the office, you’ll find him Nordic ski training or at the Oglivie Racetrack competing in Midwest Modified car races on a dirt track.
We’re excited to have him part of the team this summer!
Landing back home at MSP this morning, there was a luggage delay, as a critical delivery came first off of our plane. It was a powerful testament to a service member as they arrived home this morning in a flag draped coffin. A full honor guard, police, sheriff, state patrol, and apparently the family of the fallen were present. Late luggage was the last of my concerns as we took the time to appreciate our service members and their families.
Congratulations Blaine Bengals seniors recognized last night at the Blaine Community Scholarship ceremony. We are pleased to be part of the $3 million presented to students through the years. We presented a scholarship to Zahraa Abed who will be studying at the U of M Twin Cities in Business Finance, Risk Management & Insurance.
