About James Kiwiet

I joined Thrivent shortly after graduating from college. I attended Grand Valley State University where I pursued a double major in Economics and Marketing. Towards the end of my college career as I started to learn more about the economy as a whole I began to shift my focus more towards learning about the markets and the finance behind it. After obtaining my two degrees I decided to learn more about the markets and began obtaining my financial certifications so that I could begin my career as a financial advisor. Obtaining these certifications and working for Thrivent has allowed me to not only pursue a career in something I love, but also share my knowledge with people and help them become more financially secure. I truly believe that achieving financial clarity is something everyone deserves and my mission is to help as many individuals and families that I can.

When I am not working you can find me spending time with family and friends, playing golf, playing pickleball, watching football, and getting out in the community. My favorite way to spend time, is when I can combine one of these passions while also giving back to others.
