About Jacob Wedekind
I'm proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. I provide personalized financial guidance to people at all stages of life. Originally from Savannah, MO and then off to college at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO where I graduated with a Financial Services degree in 2008.  I began working for Thrivent in 2009 and have been extremely blessed to build a financial practice I truly enjoy over the years.  My wife Katie and I were married in 2017 and have lived in Platte City, MO ever since.  We enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing games, and watching sports.  Our favorite teams are the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC.  We are very active with our church family at The Rock of KC and enjoy serving there a couple of weekends each month.

If you would like to donate, they have requested the following. Items needed: • Flour • Sugar • Beef Jerky • Saltines/ Ritz Crackers Hillcrest Hope’s mission is empowering individuals and families experiencing homelessness to achieve personal independence through transitional housing, accountability, education, and community support.
